FireStats 1.2.0-beta is released!
After much work, FireStats 1.2.0-beta is out!

Note: This is beta version, only install if you can handle possible problems, if in doubt – wait for the stable release.
You can download it from the usual place.
Major new features:

- Hits table filter (Ticket #43)
- Now possible to select whois provider (Ticket #78)
- Better IP address detection of users behind a proxy (Ticket #191)
- Improved security

And BTW, I think an automatic “byproduct” plug-in such as The cute Icons for Country/OS/B can be also shown in the wordpress plugins’.

this is not an independent plugin, so it doesn’t appear in the plugins list.

In order to accept his translation into the core I will need him to contact me for commit access, but he is not responding to my emails.

Your Statistics-system cannot penetrate through the proxy? (I am using a proxy from Au)

it depends on the proxy.
not every proxy provide the information about the actual IP address of the user.
